These terms apply to every place booked on an AME Academy Aruba masterclass. By registering, you accept them.
Your agreement is with AME Academy Aruba VBA, Paradera 92A, Aruba, registered at the Aruba Chamber of Commerce under H60323.0. AME Academy Aruba invoices and administers every delegate place directly.
Registering is an offer to book. A contract comes into existence when we confirm your place, and your place is confirmed once your fee has been received.
Places are open to registered healthcare professionals who are permitted to perform injectable procedures in their own country of practice.
By registering you warrant that you hold that registration and that the details you give us are accurate and your own. It is your responsibility to know what you are permitted to do in your own country.
We may ask for proof at any point, including on the day, and may verify it with the issuing body. If you cannot show it, or if what you have told us turns out to be untrue, your place is cancelled, no refund is given, and you may not take part in the hands-on session. This applies however late it comes to light.
Training is delivered in Aruba under the supervision of a physician registered in Aruba. Attending a masterclass does not confer any right to practise in Aruba.
All payments are final. Deposits and course fees are not refunded.
If you cannot attend, you may:
Either must reach [email protected] at least fourteen days before the course date. Requests after that cannot be accommodated, because models, product and catering are committed by then.
If you cancel, your place is forfeited and no further payment is due.
If AME Academy cancels or postpones a course, you choose: a full refund of everything you have paid, or your place on the new date. We will tell you as soon as we know, and your choice is yours to make.
We are not responsible for travel or accommodation you have booked. We recommend travel insurance.
Hands-on sessions are carried out on consenting adult models under direct supervision. Models are screened and give informed consent before treatment. No member of the public is treated.
If you bring your own model, they must complete our model registration form before the day, and we may decline any model on clinical grounds. Where no suitable model is available, we will substitute one or adjust the session.
Photography and filming take place during courses for educational and promotional use. By attending you agree that images of you may be used by AME Academy. If you would rather not appear, tell us in writing before the course and we will respect it.
We may change faculty, timings or the running order where circumstances require it. We will keep the substance of the programme as described. A change of this kind is not grounds for a refund.
We may end a delegate's participation, without refund, where conduct puts a model, another delegate or a member of staff at risk, or breaches professional standards.
Everything provided during a course — manuals, slides, video, technique names and written material — belongs to AME Academy Aruba or to the faculty member who created it. It is given to you for your own learning.
You may not copy it, share it, publish it, or use it to teach others, whether or not you charge for doing so, without written permission. Recording during a course is not permitted unless we say otherwise.
Courses are professional education. Nothing taught replaces your own clinical judgement, and you remain responsible for your own practice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost earnings, lost bookings, or travel and accommodation costs — and our total liability for anything arising out of a course is limited to the fee you have paid for it.
We use the details you give us to administer your place, issue your invoice and contact you about the course. We do not sell them or pass them to anyone else. Write to [email protected] if you want a copy of what we hold, or want it removed.
If something goes wrong, write to us first — most things are settled that way. If it cannot be, we will try mediation in Aruba before either of us goes further.
These terms are governed by the law of Aruba, and the courts of Aruba have jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part falls away and the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you registered.
